And we want to welcome you to our Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Workbook
This has been a absolute labor of love. This book is very helpful for anyone living
with stress, pain and illness as well as those who want to improve their
health and their well being. In this workbook, you’ll find a step by step
blueprint of the mindfulness-based stress reduction
program which is currently in over two hundred and
fifty hospitals in the country and many more around the world.
Just to give you a taste of what’s in here In this book, we talk about what mindfulness
is, how it works with the mind-body connection,
how to practice mindfulness meditation, how it works with stress reduction,
the importance of connecting to the body, and how it works with anxiety and stress.
This book is filled with examples, stories, practices,
we put a lot of effort into this book and we’re really excited about it.
We’re proud to put it out there. It’s a substantial book for anybody that’s
interested in reducing their stress and it has applications for business, education
and the health field. It also includes an mp3 CD that has over 8
and half hours of meditations. In specific, it has 21 meditations.
There are variations of 15, 30 and 45 minute body scan, sitting meditations,
lying yoga, standing yoga, loving kindness meditations as well as
other meditations on mindful eating and walking, breathing, mindful check-in.
So it’s really quite a wonderful offering of audio that accompanies this workbook.
We’ve created a wonderful interactive community on Facebook
where people who are doing the workbook can interact with each other
and they can interact with us as well. What we’ve learned from doing programs
like this is that people don’t just learn from the teachers,
they also learn from each other about the real experiences that are happening.
So we’re really excited to offer that community and we hope you’ll just dive right in there.
